I didn't watch the Paul/Joshua fight. Indeed, I have very little interest in it beyond seeing a two-bit YouTuber find out. As an outsider, then, catching a clip of the last 30 seconds, even I could see Paul was done. Joshua wasn't even winded. He was a cat toying with his food.

We've drifted so far away in our shared understanding of what houses are for, what to do with surplus food or what money actually does that we've built topsy-turvy world, and it's a hard fight to correct these errors cuz if you make people confront the idea that we deserve necessities they get mad.

Podcast idea: I start therapy to address my crippling social anxiety and lack of self-confidence, gradually transitioning into dipping my toe into playing BattleTech with my fellow humans. BattleTherapy. I just need to get over my anxiety enough to start therapy.

If my 9yo's claim is to be believed at face value, she just independently read 126 pages of a preteen-oriented graphic novel in 10 minutes. She says it makes her stomach feel funny, which is what I assume happens when your eyes are darting from panel to panel at the speed of thought.

It's a wonderful feeling to be wanted, especially as a parent. It would be nice, however, to not be *needed* by every member of the household for, like, 5 minutes.

I'm less than an hour from Philly. I sure wish I had more money and less social anxiety so I could attend #PAXUnplugged. Also some free time would be nice.

Since they were babies, part of my kids' bedtime routine was me staying with them at night and singing to them or playing music for them as I rock them to sleep. As they've gotten older, it's evolved into me putting on one of a selection of playlists as I hang out and they fall asleep.

I found a salamander while cleaning the leaves of the sidewalk in front of the house. I gently relocated him under the neighbor's porch, but it made me think of Smoking Salamander Games and the rules-lite RPG they created, Tiny Dungeon.

It's one of the first channels I blocked from my kids' YT Kids feed and one of the most requested when they visit their cousin who's allowed to raw-dog YouTube.
