Apparently when you write things or make podcasts it's good to tell people that you've done these things. So here's a little piece I wrote about Rosemead, which I think people should see if they haven't yet because it features a stunning performance from Lucy Liu.

I think itâs a little insane that NBC/Peacock doesnât have a replay available of the halftime show after the game because I guarantee it would get a ton of views. And selfishly, I want to figure out why the vocals sounded so bad on my surround sound.

I'm hardly the first person to note this, but it's enormously instructive that our President and his followers saw the message "THE ONLY THING MORE POWERFUL THAN HATE IS LOVE" and understood it, correctly, as an attack on them

Halftime show set design was stunning. But I feel insane because it sounded like the vocals were completely drowned out for 50% of that performance??

Great idea by the IRS to do 24 days of maintenance during a month when estimated taxes are due. Also I submitted payment 7 days ago and it certainly has not processed ânormallyâ because the money is still in my bank account.

I know that podcasts probably aren't a top priority on anyone's mind today (understandable), but if you want to learn more about how to make a good one (along with various rants about the industry), I'd love to get my newsletter that will help you do that to 500 subs in the coming months.

So far this morning I've seen podcast/video producer jobs that are unpaid and <$4 above Seattle's minimum wage. Amazon's AI Video Producer and Editor role? $100-183k salary with benefits. This is my personal hell.

đš WA and other vote-by-mail states: The post office changed its postmark policy and no longer guarantees a postmark will be given on the date mail is received. For deadline sensitive mail, like ballots, this means that you need to mail far in advance (10+ days before) or use a drop box.

Iâm not much of a resolutions person because I donât believe in waiting for a new year to do something, but I do know that I want to get back to making things. I lost that the last few years and really felt how much of a toll it took on me this year to not have a personal project I was really into.
