Yesterday at the hobby store I was invited to a rc model ship meetup at the local park. So I now know a bunch more local model people and drived some ships (my driving needs work but at least I did not drive it in the wall) 😂

By the way in my last house (the model) stuff shopping I bought another stalker mini in 1/35 I know I know too many projects!!! But he really reminded me of a certain someone so I could not pass on the little guy 😅

Uhhhhh I still had „that box“ out of he closet yesterday and when I watched inside there was that flash staring at me from inside the plastic bag screaming to be cut off. And before I knew I had cut off a bunch of pieces 🫣

Ok I did NOT start anything new! Instead I painted the tiny wardrobe and two jackets. I intend to install it through the floor of the house while it is still open which is why I can’t put it in at the end. Gluing it on the wall straight and hanging up the tiny jackets will be a nightmare 😂

So what do I do with this free day now that I can’t continue painting the Hawkeye? 🤔 (It’s not just the broken airbrush the usaf light gray is nearly empty and this last rest in the bottle tends to be not that nice…) #bastilleBuild

With each passing day the kitchen counter starts to clear up and honestly it is creeping me out a little bit!!! I have not seen this part of my apartment empty in like 2 years 😱 In other news I found the perfect decoration picture for my bench back wall ❤️

New bench update! I carried this huge mdf board home and honestly I am liking it! 😃 Also optimized the drawers. Now I wait for the new cutting mat and I also still need something to sit on 😅 I also have not decided yet what to do with my big plastic box I use to store pieces in 🤔

As expected priming this plane takes so long that the compressor starts to overheat again…. So I am now on force break. I also end up removing parts of the primer again because the seam was totally visible even though I took so much care sanding it. At least on the top side I want it smooth 😤

In my attempt to make this plane being a bit more friendly towards me (and not accidentally breaking off the front landing gear) I bought it a nice comfy seat to sit on! I hope it is pleased with it…

I found some old ink pens and made a very fast stalker doodle. It‘s kinda awful but I‘m also kinda liking it 😂

This kit really keeps finding new ways to troll me… So you are supposed 138 on the front of each rotor blade and 139 on the back… and there are 16 blades in total 💀 It appears they changed the decal sheet, the box shows a different one. I wonder what else they forgot on the second version…

Not much sprues left now but piles of loose parts in exchange 😅 Priming and Painting everything will take a while. #BastilleBuild

Made some good progress with the engine pieces yesterday! I think I will treat them as pylons though and glue them on at the very end 🤔 Fit is not 100% but pretty good and it will make painting a whole lot easier. Still masking off the landing gear will be a pain 😂 #bastilleBuild #histscalemodels

This morning with the return of hot 🚿 I felt motivated, so before I got to work, I glued the bird together. There was one part in the back that was heavy warped but it had a location pin that could keep it in place with some help. The second I added the glue, the pin melted, the „help“ failed…

Starting the day with.... only cold water.

I‘m currently In a fight with a pigeon, that decided it wants to breed on the lamp of my loggia. Except it’s too dumb to reach it. Few days ago it tried landing on my oleander wich could not hold its weight, so the bird was stuck in the middle of the plant. I keep chasing it but it doesn’t give up 😑

It is very funny how my stalker obsession takes over my family 😂 When I build my toilet diorama my mom was like „why are your people green are they supposed to be green?“ they are currently camping, visiting Latvia and my mom just sent a picture with the text „look what I found at the museum!!!“

Masking set for the hawkeye arrives tomorrow then I can close the Bird up! I also bough a really scary pot of paint... has anyone ever tried Heller acrylic paints, I have the slight suspicion it will be just as everything else Heller 😂 But it was also incredible cheap lol
