As far back as I can remember, I always knew I deserved to be dead.
Reading Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami and I love it. First I was like, oh this is like a less dark Catcher in the Rye. Now 13 chapters in, it's like a more dark Catcher in the Rye.

At PAX East? Come playtest my in-development board game tomorrow at 10:30 in the Tabletop Playtesting area!! Games take about 20 mins. Will be doing informal playtests the rest of the event as well.

The slop I am fixing today was made by replit and it isn't even consistent. It's like multiple junior engineers worth of work, all with different ways of doing the same thing.

I know some people on here are intensely anti-'AI', and that is legit, and some people are, if not "pro-AI", then either fascinated by the technology (me too in many ways) or find it useful in ways hard to ignore but EVERY person on here thinks Sam Altman is a turd, and that is so beautiful to me

Yellowface is a favorite among friends and whenever we say 'it's like Yellowface' we don't mean it's about race baiting in publishing, we mean it stars the biggest piece of shit in the world that you get to hate more and more as you read it.

I also read Bring the House Down by Charlotte Runcie about a critic who sleeps with an artist after submitting a 1 star review of her work without disclosing he was a critic or had reviewed her show. In response, she rewrites her 1 woman show as a take down of the critic, which is a HUGE success.

I am reading these old natty Gs and Audubon magazines from the 70s and 80s. I think it would be interesting to take an article about an environmental issue and do a follow up article. I mean did TVA change it's spots?

this is what society gets for stigmatizing drugs and sex because now some adults are experiencing euphoric feelings for the first time ever from their computers and defining it as celestial and otherworldly and not for what it is - another chemical reaction in the brain
