A simple reflection on Artificial Intelligence. If it is used to do things that the human brain should be doing, then this is wrong. The human brain will just turn to mash. Ultimately Artificial Intelligence is leading to a world where many people become obsolete. Non thinkers.

This was an excellent lecture, and fascinating to remember the early devolution days and approach to politics of that era. Clive @labourlewis.bsky.social and those on the panel took us back to that era, with a sense of nostalgia, grounding to aspire to, and an opportunity to remember Robin Cook.

The fact that hotels are needed to house asylum seekers is a failing of the previous Conservative government to effectively process right to remain applications. Better integration into UK society of asylum seekers is what is really needed. This isn’t camps on disused RAF bases.
