Doubt you can see this but there is a yellow wagtail in this video. This is the second year in a row they begun to turn up at this site (6 last year, absent previous years). Which is nice.

Spring is starting to spring on the Levels. Loads of warblers in the hedges and grasses (sedge, Cettis, poss grasshopper)… a yellow wagtail hanging about an almost dry (!) scrape.

Big bag of cans. And not in a good way. And plastic and building materials. All collected from about 15m (?) of roadside verge near one of our small reserves (it has a sliver of land which approaches a road). We’ve got to find a way to do better on roadside little. Anyway I picked up what I could.
