Something that super bothers me is how many times this year I’ve watched evidence come out that a well liked online white person is anti BIPOC and their peers just ignore it like it isn’t a serious issue. It’s made me question so much if I can trust people and I hate feeling like that.

Yesterday I learned that thing in super Mario world where instruments are added to the song when you're riding yoshi is called vertical composition. I think that's so cool. I'm pretty sure that's a consistent theme in games where you can mount and dismount yoshi.

I think if you’re friends, you want to make that time to spend together, to celebrate each other, check in, send things to know you’re thinking of them. I don’t think that’s unreasonable, but I feel as a society we’ve used this to isolate ourselves and each other sometimes.

Just cause you're going through a hard time as a poor disabled person. Does not excuse your racism or hate against any marginalized groups. I'm allowed to talk about the discrepancies between how a Black disabled person is treated versus a white disabled person. Medical racism is a thing.

More white disabled people need to sit in discomfort and examine the role they play in making the disability community unsafe for POCs in general. Just cause you're suffering or poor does not erase the fact that you are still white. It doesn't excuse your racism or hate.

Getting upset or defensive because you feel because you're poor and/or disabled, that it negates whatever advantages you get as a white person. Which isn't true. You're still white and you benefit from it in ways that you may not realize it. It's not an attack against you as an individual.

It's wild that me talking about the intersection between disability and race has so many white disabled people upset. I'm not minimizing your experience when I talk about the added struggles of being Black on top of being disabled. I face extra barriers. I'm allowed to talk about it.

I need people outside of the States to understand that some Americans don't even know everything about this country because of how big it is. I just learned what Hannaford is because of my friend, & he just learned what Piggly Wiggly is. They're both grocery stores that are only in certain states.
