Harvested my first cucumber! I harvested two. They were both pretty small but the plants are struggling. But this was the first time I had a garden fresh cucumber in a very long time so they were still good despite the tiny size.

Good morning. Feeling very cruddy this morning, started to get a tickle in the back of my throat last night and its now a full blown sore throat. Took today off. I suspect Ill be out sick at least until Sunday.

We’re staying one more night in Ottumwa, Iowa, then catching the train home from here tomorrow evening. Now that I’ve had time to explore a bit, it’s not a bad town to be stranded for a while. Also had no idea competitive eSports started here! Excited to explore more tomorrow.

Train home lost power multiple times, no working toilets, understaffed, etc. w/ a 6+ hour delay. However, all the furries here took a bad situation and made it a mini convention that’s STILL ongoing in the observation car. It’s a wild situation, I’ll never forget this trip x3

now that i've left i can share that i had the most awesome room number at MFF

MFF 2025: A+ experience. Continues the hot streak of really good experiences all in a row. Had wild fun with friends and being CDI kings again. Burnout is hitting so strong though, between that and lack of quality sleep I tapped very deep into my reserve energy just to get through this weekend.

Sleepy airport corgs. I'm through TSA and have a couple hours to kill. I'm ready for my recliner.
