I just found a journal my mom kept for me for 7 years, w entries about what she went through raising me. it’s such a gift. the writing includes her struggle w yelling, her anxiety over being judged as a mother, & hilarious entries abt the toddler years. I’m inspired to start one for my daughter.

I love my cat so much I could die. she has brought nothing but joy to my life.

I decided to read a non-horror book, which is actually weirder than the horror I’ve read over the past year. Miranda July’s ALL FOURS, so far, is wonderful. She’s quirky, hilarious, and full of bizarre insight. Highly recommend!

Went to dentist in a very long time, & they took a 3D model of my teeth & proceeded to show it on a huge flat-screen TV, examining every speck of dirt & poorly managed tooth, which to me felt like all my bad decisions on display for the dentist & two dental hygienists present
