A company borrowed $50M of its own stablecoin from its own lending platform, using currency it printed as collateral. Then sent the proceeds to the bank that already holds its reserves. While depositors were locked out. This is not a hack. Not fraud. Not illegal. This is WLFI. Last Tuesday. 🧵

ICE killing

should remind you of police killing
#PhilandoCastille
. Both men had concealed weapon permits, did not draw their guns, & were killed in Minn. These homicides are the price of unaccountable policing. These deaths are variations on the same fatal theme.

"The leader of the US military is telling the agents of another govt dept—one of whom is on video pumping at least 5 bullets into a man who’d already been shot and was lying on his face—that 'we have your back'...Worse, the secretary seems to be implying that the govt of MN is an enemy of the US."

I’m giving up coffee not because my doctor told me to, but because I now have 50 different things in my life that cost “one coffee a month” and now there’s no room for actual coffee in my budget.

Microwaving a Hot Pocket takes 2 minutes (120 seconds). Google says Gemini uses 0.24 Watt-hours per prompt, about the same as using the microwave for 1 second. THEREFORE, you can either do 120 AI prompts or make 1 Hot Pocket for the same energy. AI is 1/120 Hot Pocket Units.
