I don't need to be "protected" from seeing porn, I need porn artists to be protected from being debanked, having their work stolen by AI, being abused for the content of their work, and going broke.

Anti-porn, anti-sex worker, and anti-sex censorship directly corresponds to a tilt downward into a more ideologically conservative and oppressive society. Regardless of your personal comfort with nsfw content on the internet, it's absolutely critical to support it right now.

Bsky is apparently gonna start flagging whole accounts as nsfw soon so if you don't already know about your moderation settings, highly suggest switching nsfw from Hide to Warn; otherwise many creators will completely vanish from your timeline when they roll this out.

I can't help but feel like they really just hate artists

Artists get raked over the coals by clients for mistakes and revisions, often with very little art direction. Artists have to be mind readers and then get punished or have pay withheld. Then these same clients accept mistakes from ai they would never accept from a real human artist.

I keep thinking about this video I saw of an illustrator who's job was taken by ai. She said the company started posting ai images that looked like hers but with tons of mistakes they wouldn't have tolerated if she had made it.
