I know its boring to say about movies being "about trauma" but really loved how this handled the aftermath and ups and downs of someone dealing with a traumatic experience in a way that manages to be heartbreaking, surprisingly funny and incredibly human all at the same time.

Good Fortune may looks like a bargain bin feel good comedy, but it's, in fact, an unflinching examination of wealth inequality. How to you find hope in a life of poverty? The film tries, but even the writer doesn't seem sure about the answer. Yet, that's what makes the movie beautiful.

Cameron delivers yet again. If I'm being fully honest, this might be my least favourite of the 3 but its like the least delicious bite of a great meal. Full of fantastic visual spectacle, great action and, whilst its treads a lot of very familiar ground, it does so with such a great emotional core

Finished my first playthroughs of the first Resident Evil and the original Resident Evil 2 this week. Glad I powered through with those tank controls because, man, what a fucking blast those games end up being
