I agree with this completely. If, for whatever reason, you have difficulty "sharing" an NPC with others in the community, you're free to keep your distance until you've healed and grown. But if you make it *their* problem, you're just being unkind and hurtful. There's no need for that.

Early in StB, when the resistance occupied Castrum Oriens, Sev would climb up into a tree to think. One time, he found Lyse already in the tree he'd chosen. They got talking, and he sort of backed himself into confessing his feelings for her. She tackled-kissed him out of the tree about it. ❤️

Sev doesn't say anything; he just cracks his knuckles. Everyone who's fought alongside him knows that this is the signal for "the fight is over now."

Sev doesn't snore much - and when he does, he snores like a cat. Little wuffles and wheezes sometimes when he exhales. It's usually quite soft, not enough to disturb Lyse's sleep. But it's absolutely adorable so when she hears it she loves to watch him sleep for a little while 🥺❤️

Sev's mother, White Feather, has spent her whole life on the remote island in the Rhotano Sea where Sev was born. She does whatever the village needs; they share most responsibilities communally. Sev hasn't spoken to her since he left the island, and doesn't want to. She's why his childhood hurt.

If you're hesitating because it feels like a lot of work for you, let me assure you: it takes very little time to get used to doing this! By like the ~10th time I posted an image and was required to add alt text, it was perfectly normal to me. It's actually Super Easy! You CAN do it.

Take some time to re-evaluate things you thought were lame or uncool when you were younger. Especially if you grew up thinking some things were "for girls" or "for boys." You may still not dig some of those things, and that's fine! But I bet you'll find something you like more than expected!
