BREAKING: A federal judge has voided President Donald Trump's controversial settlement with the IRS, ruling that his underlying $10 billion lawsuit was filed for an "improper purpose" to engineer a self-dealing agreement.

Lindsey Graham may have been a good man; perhaps he could have been a great one; but he chose to be Trump’s man. This morning I’m wondering what John McCain has to say to his old friend, assuming, of course, they are in the same place.

A Police Executive Research Forum report from 2014 showed that CBP officers were purposely placing themselves in front of moving vehicles, and then shooting at them. This isn’t something that can be reformed. Abolish ICE.

I’m sad about US soccer because people around the world won’t remember the heroic game vs B-H. Instead, they’ll remember that a corrupt US president and a corrupt FIFA colluded, but the USMNT lost in spite of that cheating. So sad. Trump turned the US effort in the World Cup to green goo.

"No kings," because even an omnibenevolent king isn't omniscient, and that means that omnipotence is always omnidestructive in the long run. The fascist revival has been scarily effective and resilient - and systems thinking offers an explanation for both that efficacy and that resiliency. eof/

Odd, how a lone gunman failed to even enter a targeted room and no one was harmed—and Republicans go HYSTERICAL over the “tone” of Democrats. And yet heavily armed and masked fascists murdered two people at point-blank range in the streets of Minneapolis—and not a peep about the “tone” of the right.
