As best as I can tell, the dispute was between a super-duper-ultra-MAGA faction that wanted the party to approve a platform with detailed policy preferences vs. an only ultra-MAGA faction that wanted to have a party platform devoid of policy. The last group wanted a more "big tent" approach.

At the same time an OR GOP leader tweeted this pro-military invasion statement last night about violence in Portland, the party's meeting in Welches, OR descended into a physical confrontation between rival factions. The hotel hosting the event kicked them out like a bunch of rowdy high schoolers.

Yep. My eyes on a large helicopter NOT on flightradar. Right now (22:45) doing slow and low passes over that area, head over SE then head towards the facility again. PPB plane departed PDX 40min-1hr ago and is watching the helicopter from a distance.

Only interesting thing on flightradar for the last few hrs was a PPB plane in the air for some hours. Occasionally passed by the facility but mostly kept hopping between and circling I5, I84, and I205 entrypoints into town. If those helis were there they were filtered. Usually happens w/ military.
