One of the many cute coal tits in the garden. The bossiest are currently the siskins and the goldfinches, they are not averse to having a little tussle to get the seeds first. I’ve been watching 2 male blackbirds testing each other, 1 hops along the branches to displace the interloper. Civil so far!

I don't love that livestock forage in my yard & compete with the native bees I'm trying to support. HOWEVER since we depend on honeybees for many crops but live in pollination deserts, this is a big time breakthrough. They engineered YEAST to replicate missing nutrients from pollen. #Inverts 🧪🌎🌱
