Training always teaches me about myself. TIL that I run harder when I lift weights first. When I try to run before lifting, I rarely push myself on the run. Lesson? After I’ve lifted and carried all I can, I’m still able to GTFO of danger fast! (I’ll unpack this in therapy later.)

I learned about a voice acting audition a few hours before the deadline. I read the script, rehearsed, recorded on my phone, and submitted inside of two hours. There were 900+ submissions and mine is moving forward into the 2nd round of review! 🤯🥹🫠

The last 6 weeks, I’ve been trying to get my 5K time under 30 mins - something I haven’t done in almost a decade. Today, I ran 5K in 29:53!

2025 was — according to Chinese zodiac — my Ben Ming Nian (own zodiac year), a time of potential challenge but also transformation. That’s been true for every 12th year of my life! I’m not Chinese.
