Survived Big Tesco and have all the important stuff for Christmas like bags of 50 mini sausage rolls, frozen party food so we can have many picky teas and a ridiculous amount of chocolate.

Now to brave Big Tesco to stock up the freezer for Christmas.

It was our Christmas event at work today and I’ve done 11,000 steps and over 1,000 people attended. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, got really good feedback and I got compliments on my jumper 😁

A bit overlong but the songs and the general sense of whimsy were lovely. The Child Catcher was seriously creepy and would’ve definitely freaked me out if I watched Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as a child.

#StrangerThings 5x01 Love how the gang have set up a network of spreading secret info via a radio show that Robin & Steve are running. Though how they dug all those tunnels in 3 months is impressive. Poor Dustin. Love the shot at the end of El & Nancy going to save the day.

Today was the first time since I moved in with her that I had a bit of a cry in frustration over mum & her Alzheimer’s. First time in 4.5 months is pretty good going really.

Plans for today: - take mum to the opticians to pick up her new glasses - do washing - tidy up the house - go out for a pub lunch & pay for our Christmas dinner at said pub - pick up mum’s prescription - make a start on Stranger Things S5

As a friend works there I got to go to the preview night for the botanic lights which was lovely. Perfect weather for it too as it was dry and pretty mild.
