Trump is conflating the Continental Army of the American Revolution which was created on June 14, 1775, with the US Army created on June 3, 1784. Interesting that American .mil websites now all trace the founding of the US Army to the earlier date. Helps that June 14 is his birthday.

Worth noting that both Trudeau and now Carney have spent the past half-year enabling/pandering to Trump's lies about Canada and fentanyl. And it's gotten Canada less than nothing. Flattering the autocrat is not a viable survival strategy. Maybe Canada should try something else?
