If Trump's plan succeeds in stopping Israel's razing of Gaza, allowing in humanitarian aid and freeing the hostages, it will be cause for celebrating. That is not the same thing as peace, a rebuilt Gaza and accountability for the crimes committed by both sides. Nor are the first two irreversible.

Here it must be clarified that it is normal for any religion to be attached to any place they believe is holy, but the concept of "being attached to a specific state", which requires killing and replacing those living there is just an exploitation/weaponization of an originally unharmful concept.

These polls are interesting as they reveal the gap between *public* and *published* opinion. But they are also somewhat misleading bec genocide is ultimately not a matter of general (nor of Jewish or Israeli) opinion. If anything, papers should be polling international law and genocide experts!

My argument has always been that the “skills” needed to use it without being fooled are critical thinking and research which is supposed to be what we already teach anyway. But people are advocating for it’s use in thinking and research so obviously something is off.
