Big highlighting and performance improvements in @skyreader.app this week. Also shipped @margin.at integration so with one tap you can save your highlights to margin.

@bmann.ca suggests that a Skyreader linkblog should actually point to the link so now it does! thanks for calling that out, the other suggestions (@ mentions, custom domains, deeper @semble.so integration) are on the roadmap but will take a bit longer :)

I'm excited about Tim @disnetdev.com's latest updates to @skyreader.app, especially the link blogging. And I have opinions on link blogging, which conveniently means there will be a recent entry in my blog which Tim put right in his post 😀

Big improvements to @skyreader.app making it more social! Articles you share are now published as a @standard.site linkblog. Follow Skyreader linkblogs in any @standard.site reader (or traditional RSS reader!) Finding your people in Skyreader is also now much improved. Let me know what you think!

Every Sifa profile is now an RSS / Atom feed. 📡 @bsky.app, @tangled.org, @standard.site, @smokesignal.events, and more, all in one single stream you can subscribe to from any reader.

RSS + atproto gang rise up!

New release of @skyreader.app is now live with support for Channels that let you set up filtered views of your feeds and saved articles. Helps you catch up on quick reads or check in on sites that infrequently post. (apparently I have 104 long reads, rip my reading list)

March updates! @atproto.science and AtmosphereConf, @ronentk.me joined the BiTS accelerator, new Semble features like faceted following and faster card saving, plus exciting community contributions and cross-app integrations with @chive.pub and @skyreader.app Happy Spring 🌻

Big update just released that improves how skyreader works on your phone. Buttons are easier to reach, look nicer, and should just make more sense now. Let me know what you think!

Skyreader launched a few days ago and wow, way more people showed up than I expected. Had to shut down logins while I scrambled to scale. Two major changes since launch: better OAuth scopes and private subscriptions. More to come!
