Our talented Foundation Apprentices at Aberlour Futures Aberdeen are getting into the Christmas spirit while building incredible skills! As part of their coursework, they learned Makaton sign language and have performed a song using Makaton. Watch them sign an excellent rendition of Jingle Bells!

Day Fourteen of our #Aberlour150 advent calendar 🎄❄️🎁🎅⛄ ‘Bench’ was created by Ahmed, Anas, Adam and Oliver from a raw piece of wood with support from Men’s Shed. This creation was inspired by a combination of experiences and skills of both the creators and tradesmen involved.

Day Two of our #Aberlour150 advent calendar 🎄❄️🎁🎅⛄ Our Chair David, Trustee Jozanne, and their friend, Neil, took on the epic challenge of cycling 150 miles from our founding village in Aberlour to our head office in Stirling back in May. They raised over £3,000 🎉

In @sundaypost.com, Debbie* shared the support she received on her recovery journey while staying with us. Mums supported by our Mother & Child Recovery Houses & Intensive Perinatal services shared their experiences of support during their recovery journey as part of our Families Voices Project.

Thank you to @mareetodd.bsky.social for coming along to our Families Voices event today. Having heard directly from our mums affected by substance use, we hope that intensive support can be expanded to more mothers and their children which will give children a better start in life.

New report! Our Families Voices Project worked with mums supported by our Intensive Perinatal services and Mother & Child Recovery Houses to amplify their voices to shape future care and support for mums and children impacted by substance use and perinatal mental health.
