Last winter, @trussellscot.bsky.social data shows: 👉 An emergency food parcel was provided to someone every 2 minutes 12 seconds. 👉 Over 19,000 food parcels for children were provided, that's just under 1 in every 3 parcels.

🚨 JUST IN: thousands of people will need to turn to a food bank in Scotland for the very first time this winter.  The rising costs of essentials, like food, rent and bills, and a lack of support from our social security system, is pushing people to the brink.

Thanks to everyone who donated to the food collections over Thursday to Saturday. Over half a tonne of food was donated to Dunfermline Foodbank which provides a much needed boost to our stocks coming up to Christmas. @trussellscot.bsky.social Thanks also to all the volunteers who made it possible.
