Arresting Black journalists for covering a protest is a violation of the most basic principles of the 1st amendment. This administration is determined to deny not only the constitutional rights of its citizens and residents, but the human rights of all who oppose its racist agenda.

The problem with this "I know police officers" is that police have been trained, whether directly or indirectly, to treat nice white folks as if they are worth protecting and serving. But ICE has been trained to treat everyone like police treat Black and Brown Communities.

Donald Trump broke "democratic norms" when he sent lawyers around the country lying and fabricating claims, had folks threatening Black poll workers, and incited a riot after Black voters in Georgia flipped 2 senate seats. So yeah. He promised retribution, now he's trying to solidify his hold.

And yet Dems claim they don't know how to talk about this alongside affordability. Smh.

The officer who shot Alex worked for DHS for 8 years. The officer who shot Renee worked for DHS for over 10 years. Both are considered “highly trained.” The problem isn’t "training." DHS was built to violate our rights and has been empowered to act with impunity. We must MELT ICE and dismantle DHS.
