The English Teahouse and English Garden were opened on 29 March 1952 British Foreign Minister Sir Anthony Eden, later PM. On 27 May 1965, Queen Elizabeth II planted an oak tree from Windsor Great Park at the site. In June 2025, the Teahouse was destroyed by fire. Plans are in place to rebuild it.

The Löwenbrücke in Tiergarten is a 17.3-metre-long and approx two-metre-wide pedestrian suspension bridge and was built in 1838 based on designs by Ludwig Ferdinand Hesse and Christian Friedrich Tieck as a replica of the Lion Bridge in Saint Petersburg and was Berlin's first suspension bridge.
