Looking forward to this workshop tomorrow at City Law School on the topic of EU Law for a Volatile and Uncertain World, and to meeting new colleagues. Was nice to catch up with colleagues at the Essex human rights research away day today and to hear about the exciting human rights work being conducted. I presented part of my book exploring the social dimensions of the freedom to conduct a business as a fundamental right in EU law.

Great thread on the AG opinion recommending the annulment of the AMWD, highlighting the unnecessary distinction between the 'social' and the 'constitutional' in EU law.

Significant opinion from Advocate General Emiliou, marking a potential regression in what has been a relatively active period for the development of EU social law.
