Did something totally out of character and flew to Chicago to see Grizzly Bear. Ran some very flat miles and ate some great vegan food and discovered Chicago is really really cool!? I had no idea!

one of the clearest signs you're dealing with a strong and principled political movement is when they want to make it illegal to make fun of them

Going to have to start admitting that fall is approaching. Also that my body hurts and I need a break (much harder to admit)

Aside from some smoke and absolutely relentless and chilly wind from the west, really beautiful fall day up high ⛰️

I don’t have a lot of interest in 14ers anymore but when I go up one I definitely make it a loop that adds a bunch of extra mileage and elevation gain 💀

I love rocks, I love snow on rocks, I love when the sky looks navy blue, I love the color of glacial lakes, ugh I’m so lucky to live in proximity to these places

Just finished this one, based on
@themountaingoats.bsky.social
’s recommendation. I enjoyed it a lot but I’ll probably need to do a re-read to really grasp it.

The best thing about working in tech right now is that you’re treated as if you’re absolutely loony if you DON’T think LLMs will become God in the next 3 years
