While saying they want to "preserve nature" the Conservative Party have just pledged to scrap the Climate Change Act. This makes no sense. How do more floods, more droughts, and rising temperatures "preserve" nature? That's what scrapping the Act will lead to.

Sad, to hear of Jane Goodall's death. & so grateful she was with us. It feels like many of the wise elders are leaving just now. Makes me feel it is time for more of us to step up. Not to replace them, they are irreplaceable, but to bring who we are to the world with the same unshakable faith. 💚🌿

We’re seeing a lot of racist rhetoric in the UK right now, including against refugees and asylum seekers. That feels frightening and exhausting - especially for those of us from racialised communities. Seeing this so close to home can be scary. And it can take a toll on our mental health.
