I love Batman's universe through the lens of @chrissamnee.bsky.social's art. What a dream team, with him and @markwaid.bsky.social - I would read a hundred issues of this book from them and not grow tired of it.

I work 100% digital and for some time now I have been doing drawing and color at the same time. From the sketch (left) to the final page (right). I give color the same value and importance in the design of the page as the line. #absolutemartianmanhunter

This moody issues has the perfect cozy spooky aesthetic - I feel like it's wrapping me up in a blanket with a thunderstorm outside. @christophcondon.bsky.social has swiftly risen to become one of my favorite writers and the way his books sell at the shop certainly prove that I'm not alone in that

This is one of the best first issues I've ever read. Not for the feint of heart but the story from @tylerboss.bsky.social is gripping plus the art from @adrianoturtulici.bsky.social is beyond perfect, I'm obsessed with the paneling and color work. If you're down for a little horror, GRAB THIS

WOW I did not expect this. I'm so happy I read this Tuesday so I could turn a bunch of customers on it - I *really* suggest going in blind, so I'll just say that the art is GORGEOUS and I'm on the edge of my seat for the next issue. @al-ewing.bsky.social crushed this, and that's an understatement

One of the more brutal issues of this series. As an animal lover and someone who consumes a truly concerning amount of zombie content, this series is a treat. @tonyfleecs.bsky.social and @trishforstner.bsky.social are really a fantastic team, I love when they break my heart and gross me out 🥰

Two silent issues with a surprising amount of story packed into their pages. Quarrel is one of the most beautiful comics I've ever held, Molinas art is gorgeous and Mendoza is wildly good at conveying a plot without words

Absolute Flash - the art in this is incredible. The story is snappy and I adore the character (re)designs but most importantly, I love that they made Captain Cold hot. @jefflemire171.bsky.social @artofnickrobles.bsky.social (Adriano Lucas doesn't have Bluesky but the color work is swoon worthy)

Absolute Martian Manhunter - this book is trippy and fun in the best way. It has STYLE and wow, I was so tickled by that final page. I know, not surprising to get something amazing from @denizcamp.bsky.social and @javierrodriguez.bsky.social, two powerhouses.

The Mummy - the Universal Monsters line has been one of my favorite things to come out of comics in the last few years and I'm really excited to see where this one goes. Great set up issue that leaves me wanting more. Also my first book from @faitherinhicks.bsky.social and I def need to change that

I was a Fashion School Serial Killer - This is obviously going to be a fun series, the first issue had the right mix of college life and slashing 🔪 ...also, should someone check on @dougwagner13.bsky.social and make sure he's okay, with the amount of serial killer comics he's written...?

For a moment of vulnerability today, I'm traveling cross country for a friend's memorial. I've really struggled to read new comics since she passed a few months ago, that's how we were connected. So I'm going to read as many comics as I can on my way - will post here what I get through!
