I agree! I often find myself drawn to works that unapologetically explore those themes, like the Materials series by @dougwagner13.bsky.social or Wic+Div by @kierongillen.bsky.social. I think it's a product of growing up in the 90's with a lot of the comics I'd seen being all edge with no cut.
