Last night’s Christmas movie was “Charlie Brown Christmas” and today we’ve been watching the Snoopy Show. I love that as a culture, we’ve accepted the Red Barron segments as kid appropriate PTSD media.

I love this! But tell her that she shouldn’t dress like that in the late spring and summer, which was when we filmed the movie. It was not very comfortable in the heat! 🥵 😆

We’re a “Christmas season starts after we see Santa in the Macy’s Parade” kind of family. So our first Christmas movie is always Miracle on 34th Street. As a Californian, one of the most interesting things to me is how we get a label of being impersonal or unfriendly, but having lived elsewhere and traveled to all 50 states, we seem to talk to and acknowledge strangers more than most places, even the Midwest.
