When these institutions — big law firms, Ivy League universities —bow to Trump rather than fighting what appear to be illegal orders, do they think he’ll just be satisfied and stop? Do they just expect others to fight where they won’t?

If your excuse as an elected official, here in 2025, for not doing something that is in the interest of Dems who elected you is that Republicans might weaponize it, you are not living in 2025. They are going to weaponize anything you do, either way. They have demonstrated this over and over.

Trump didn't win 50% of the popular vote. The GOP has slim margins in both the House and Senate. His approval ratings are tanking. He does not have a mandate. Do not let him gaslight you into believing he is all powerful. He's not.

Democrats should have a hundred video editors doing rapid response on everything that's about to happen but just not clear if there's the organization or energy for any of that absent a campaign.
