The most common critique I see people have with TTRPG adventures is them leaving out info necessary to smooth play and leaving in bloat that lowers accessibility. I wrote a bunch trying to unpack what's useful to include in a module, what's best prepped by the GM, and what's best improvised in play.

My first book of the year is "One Week in January" by artist Carson Ellis. It's a diary she kept in 2001 and found again recently, accompanied by new paitings showing her life then. It reminded me of my own life in my early 20s, especially how lost we both felt then. 💙📚 #bookreview
