French onion ramen, an absurdly rude recipe from Tim Anderson's Vegan JapanEasy. We swapped out spinach, cabbage and bamboo shoots for what we had to hand - rocket, green beans and carrot. Also kept in the mushrooms from making the dashi. Marvellous with a glass of red. #WhatVegansEat

The power of visualisation. What jumped out at me was that almost all of these cities are in the same band of latitude - only London and Lagos are outliers. Which immediately suggest climate factors underlying cities being able to support large numbers of people. 📊
