yo @doubletaxi.bsky.social i know you did that review from a trails newcomer perspective but as a series veteran i can say that yeah, you're absolutely 100% right as this being a great jump off point for the series.

i'm probably a bit biased because i played the sky trilogy back in 2017 right after 3rd finally released on steam and that was shall we say...a very pivotal time in my life. genuinely life changing media for me. even then, it's hard for me not to see the sky trilogy as a masterwork.

with credits rolling on sky 1st i can safely say this is the best way to get into the series now. the presentation is top notch, the gameplay is some of the best the series has had. if you're a trails veteran or a newcomer there is no reason to not jump in here. the SC remake will come too.
