9/23 Travel Log Bishojo Paradise 8 (A doujin event focused on 60s-90s bishojo) This is actually my first time attending a doujin event. (And my first time in Kawasaki for that matter) As one would expect, the halls were filled with stuff catering to thirsty otaku men of that generation, haha.

9/22 Travel Log Narumi Kakinouchi Exhibit -From Vampire Princess Miyu to Miyui- No photos on the first floor. Permitted on the second floor. The art on the first floor was mostly Miyu artwork for the manga serialization and volume covers. Gorgeous, soft watercolor art with a delicate touch.

I think this T-shirt is a one-of-a-kind piece drawn by a fan that I received at an anime convention in the US. It's signed "KAY ENGSTROM 1993" underneath the illustration. This is the first time I've worn it.

Until this week, it's been impossible to play the games of the 1993 Pioneer LaserActive without one of the vanishingly rare, disintegrating consoles. Here's the story of the guy who's been trying to fix that for years -- and all the hardware and software he had to build to make it possible.

Shin Aim for the Ace is the 1978 remake of the series. All 24 episodes are being subtitled and released in the US for the first time.

Monster will be coming to Blu-ray next year! It's been a long wait for many of you who wanted this. The entire series in HD, subbed & dubbed.

We announced an HD remaster of Vampire Princess Miyu a bit ago. Gorgeous remaster, subbed, both the US & UK English dubs. It'll come... someday. Sometimes things unfortunately don't go as quick as we'd like.
