Corporate greed, dynamic surveillance, and the buy nothing rebellion. This applies to Canada too. Time to take back our power. Boycott multinational conglomerates and support local producers, artists, service providers. This video is worth watching.

I don't agree with people who live on Border towns to continue to travel to buy products in the US, sorry, you are traitors, if you think you are saving money, you really aren't after the conversions and the costs, duties etc., you are also not helping Canada. Don't @ me. Fuck the US.

This should be happening everywhere! Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont signed SB 397, requiring ICE & other law enforcement to operate without masks & with visible identification, while expanding accountability for constitutional rights violations. Transparency & accountability matter!

But there are plenty of emerging nations (formerly "third world") that are entirely dependent on fossil fuels. What about them?

Thanks for being rational and contributing in good faith. I appreciate that. Yes, there is work to be done, but those nations don't have the US salivating over borders & people--we're (largely) not brown. We should continue, as well, but that takes money. Right now CA doesn't have any.

Yes there is a guarantee: the rest of the world still depends on fossil fuels. This notion that any nations other than the Scandinavian ones are operating as green societies/economies is a pipe dream.

Before you get snobbish about e-readers, remember that they allow large text for those with sight disabilities, alternate fonts for those with dyslexia, and can be laid down flat for those lacking mobility in their hands. That last point is especially helpful for me right now. Go e-readers!
