Author of Mr. Nightmare, Never Dead, Zoo and other books. Active HWA member.
Read 20 of 2026 was Wilson by Jack Finn. One of the best parts about being an author is getting to know a whole bunch of other authors and getting a chance to read their books. I couldnāt wait to get into this one. If you like a creepy carnival story give this one a read. I couldnāt put it down. 5/5

Iāll be finishing my current novel soon and Iāve started brainstorming for my next novel. Hereās a couple photos of where Iāve been in my head the last few months (off the coast of Cape Cod) and where Iām headed next (the west). As always, keep reading and Iāll keep the books coming.

Iāve gotten better at marketing, but as ever, I continue to learn. Today my 1st book is being re-released & I hope you check it out. Or if you already have, give it a boost. Perhaps weāll get it in front of a pair of eyes that understand my type of justice.

Itās less than two weeks until Halloween, need a spooky book to get you in the mood? Mr. Nightmare is by far my most popular book. Itās set in the 80ās and is Stranger Things meets Are You Afraid of the Dark? Whatās not to love.

I just finished this beast of a book. I love Ron Chernowās work and this book is no exception. Twain was a much more complex person than I realized. Itās amazing chronicle of his life and thought. If youāre a fun of massive biographies give this a read.

Been listening to St. John from Aerosmith a ton lately. This song goes pretty hard in the second half and the guitar is heavy af. Wildly underrated song.

Someone asked today if Iāve ever written straight up mystery/detective book. I told them I hadnāt but And The I Killed All the Ghosts is about as close as you can get to an old school detective book. If you like those 1950ās noir detective novels, youāre going to like this book.

I used to think I had to sit down and write every day to be a writer. Now I know that āwrite everydayā doesnāt means sitting down at the computer and typing every day. Sometimes the best āwritingā is done in your head while you walk around a lake.

A sci-fi detective comedy narrated by a footnoting coffee machine robot, set in a continent-spanning mall. āSure to appeal to fans of Douglas Adams, this zany, uproarious mystery is a constant delight.ā āPublishers Weekly (starred review)
