Okay, good news. I did manage to recover a 4K version of the intro which had a lot of the clips I lost embedded. That’s solved 40% of the problem. It’s going to be a painstaking process recapturing and replacing the clips elsewhere in the video but… doable. Hopefully it’ll be ready for the 29th.

Can anyone help? I accidentally deleted a folder containing several other folders of clips. After panic buying a piece of software to recover them it appears they’re all corrupted. Does anyone know if there’s any way to save them? They’re MKV files and still fairly big so I assume there’s data there

I've got the Lord of the Rings appendices on in the background while I work. Remember when non-boutique physical media releases put this much care into their supplemental features? By contrast, the 2022 4K box set omits the appendices completely and the sparse few new special features suck.
