The Scots have much clearer boundaries than the rest of the isles. The British identity is one confusion & deliberate lack of clarity on its power structures. Devolution is simply a negotiation with the centralised English state. Same applies to much of England, we are all serfs not equal citizens.

I find the glee here about making thousands of hard working NHS staff redundant - and simultaneously therefore ensuring that clinical staff's workloads are increased even further with administration tasks they didn't sign up for - both tone deaf and distasteful.

The profits we are paying to corporations and private finance who are delivering public services should be openly published. The UK people need to know how much of their taxes are making profits and not being assigned to help people.
