Great paper outlining the fundamental flaws of using AI detection tools in educational institutions. Any student accused by one of these tools should submit the paper as part of their case. Any university using the tool is asking to get sued, with this paper being submitted as evidence.

Great to work on this with such clever and wonderful people! AI detectors don't work and don't belong in education, whatever you think of genAI!
