Ok here we go… Chrono Trigger is a great game but it is often overrated especially by people who don’t like other JRPGs. FF6 is the far more ambitious (and in my view better) title but CT gets more legacy points because it is simpler, smaller, and takes few if any narrative or thematic risks.

I’m often accused of being overly or even toxicly positive. So let’s do something fun and random today. You give me a game, movie, or show (extra points if you know it’s something I really like) And I’ll say something negative, rude, or maybe even mean spirited about it. GO!

For the first time since I've been covering the Colorado #Rockies (13 years) Maybe for the first time since I've been watching them (32 years) The national media is actually being far more reasonable and rational about the Denver baseball team than the local media. Odd timeline we live in.

The win yesterday was far more absurd and ridiculous in a vacuum. The win today was actually more absurd in a way. The Rockies were down 4-0 against Paul Skenes and won somewhat comfortably 8-5.

All my favorite games have a 7-9 rating on Metacritic. Almost every time I try a 9-10 I find myself severely disappointed. Don’t let critics think for you and you don’t have to think like a critic. Cheers.

It is absolutely THIS! It's so funny but after COE33's huge addition to the genre was to include perfectly-timed dodging mechanics (something action games have been built on for a long time) it became clear to me. The difference is this simple. Can you move your character or not? SO DUMB LOL.
