I recall there being a brief window of near universal condemnation by elites for atrocities like the murder of George Floyd and the 1/6 putsch. With this recent ICE murder of Renee Nicole Good however, they seem to immediately close ranks and propagate a false counter narrative.

ICE agents gunning people down in the street recalls how carelessly the SS/Gestapo would treat the lives of whomever they came across, how cheap life became after the Nazis took power—and not only the lives of those groups they explicitly targeted. These are the conditions that precede mass death.
