4 years ago, having just taken a papercutting class, I made my first piece of OFMD art. I had never been so compelled to capture a moment. I didn’t know anyone who’d watched the show. That piece of red silk still has my heart and I have joyfully cosplayed it. Grateful for it all, and you all.

Just danced for the first time in ages, even with only one knee that bends. The band in the hotel bar was lead by Lena Prima, Louis Prima’s daughter. My father loved him, and she put on a great show. New Orleans is a special place and I feel lucky to have spent a few days here.

Oy vey, FB (don’t yell at me I’m old and have some longtime friends that’s the only place they go) has figured out that I’m in New Orleans and keeps pushing a donut tasting tour on me and I’m lucky it’s overpriced or I would fold like a turnover.

I came down to the hotel bar, the loudest place I’ve been in ages. Sitting by myself feeling invisible, just wanting an Old Fashioned. Came close to puddling up, when finally the sweetest waitress came by and I got to order. She just came back with a big smile and my drink and turned it all around.🥰
