Maybe this is a hot take, but the pressure to upgrade a #mtgcube with new cards every time a set drops is antithetical to the format and over consumption.

Currently there are eleven cubes that you can use in your @scryfall.com searches with "cube:<id>" and they're all woefully out of date. What would it take to extend this search term to all lists on @cubecobra.com?

One of the coolest things I saw this weekend was part of a “Cube” curated by Matt (I am only 90% certain on name) who buys PT draft decks from players and keeps them in individual cases. Players draft three decks from a selection on table and play beat two out of three a different deck each game.

Talking to the TSA agent screening my bag, they were aware of Magic because their brother played. Then the agent mentioned they heard about the upcoming Final Fantasy release and thought that was pretty cool. Whatever you think of UB, Wizards knows how to widen the tent to bring in new players.

"Roamer's Routine" is my favorite piece from Tarkir Dragonstorm, by Andrew Mar. The distant vista, solitary figure, and wintery backdrop is perfection for my main Cube project. I just love it. My second favorite is Mar's "Worthy Cost." The way Mar uses light focus on the critical moment depicted.
