What are some cards similar to Strategic Betrayal / Go Blank that have graveyard hate stapled onto a slightly below-rate effect? Looking for effects across colors, ideally less powerful than Lion Sash and more maindeckable than Soul-Guide Lantern.

3-0 in last week's cube night - the inaugural draft of a 4-color artifact cube! I ended up drafting mostly a historic/legends deck with a lot of creatures that were able to dodge artifact removal by being non-artifacts. Exorcise is also crazy in a cube with artifact lands.

Final round of PTQ, opp convinced me to ID at 5-2 but I don't really understand the math here. Top 32 play day 2 and top 128 get a pricey promo. Can anyone weigh in on whether I had a shot at top 32 if I won? Chances I would fall out of top 128 if I lost? My breakers were exactly average.

A little more digression on this cube. I've actually always kinda loved the mtgfinance side of the hobby, and I'm absolutely thrilled with how cheap so many good and/or powerful magic cards have become through reprint strategies like commander decks, the list, etc.

my favorite part of spoiler season is the heated reddit discussions where one person is says "this card sucks in modern" and the other says "this card is busted in commander" but instead of naming a format they say "too expensive" or "opponents" and this just completely goes over the other's head

The dream? Take X combat steps in a row, where X is the amount of green mana you can produce. Did I live it? Unfortunately not. Maybe next draft.

I'm such a foil noob. Is there a resource on foils by set? Like I assume the great foiling is part of the reason foil M10 lightning bolt is 8x more expensive than an MM2 foil bolt. But as someone who started playing in 2020 I have no prior on this.

Why don't 2025 foils pop as much as this?

Btw armageddon is really fun in micro cubes. Last time I played against it I had a really interesting decision where I could have countered it but instead got to do some fun race math given 2 lands left in deck and a snapcaster in hand to flash in. Won with 2 life left!!

Cube night this week! We played my micro cube, Mate in Fifteen. Draft 15 card decks, and you can't lose by decking. Quirion Dryad was the pillar of my deck and I had a bunch of ways to protect it and chip in with 2/1s. 1-2 had some good close games Other decks in the thread!
