A little correction to our segment on the first interracial kiss. Lucile Ball was mostly English with some possible Irish ancestry. However, she played an Irish woman as Lucy McGillicuddy in I Love Lucy, and a Scotswoman as Lucy Carmichael in The Lucy Show.

"The Horror at 37000 Feet" is a truly terrible movie, but there are a few gems in there. Here, for instance, Buddy Ebsen's millionaire starts violently making demands of a drunk Shatner. But Shatner overpowers him in a very subtle show of how impotent Ebsen is in this situation.

In case you all thought we were kidding about the ridiculously bad a FX used to show Shatner falling to his death in "Horror at 37000 Feet", here it is in full. Watch his insane, mouth gapping performance along with Buddy Ebsen, Lynn Loring, Paul Winfield, and Tammy Grimes. "NO! I'VE GOT TO SEEEEE!"

We mentioned this in our horny Antony Perkins thread. How do you know a scene is about sex? The characters are looking at each other’s lips as much as at their eyes. In Vox in Excelsio, Darem is as interested in Jay-den’s lips as anything else. These aren’t fleeting moments either. They’re stares.

Here's something I noticed on my rewatch of "Shuttle to Kenfori". The Klingon transmission ↖️ uses and old fan made alphabet created by Geoffrey Mandel for the "U.S.S. Enterprise Officer's Manual" published in 1980 ↗️ instead of "pIqaD"↙️ which has been the official Klingon alphabet since TMP.↘️
