1) Just a few years back we had Covid and not enuf nurses. This country does not have the nurses to meet its needs. We have worked hard to increase the education and the pipeline. Now the dept of mis-education is trying to declassify and prevent nurses from being able to access student loans.

2) This is crazy! The average age of a nurse is 55 + and soon retiring, so if they aren’t replaced, when bird flu hits or the aging boomers hit the healthcare system en masse who will be there? The U.S. already has the worst health outcomes than any industrialized country with equal resources!

Like many Americans, Scott Adams had insurance problems. But unlike most people he has powerful friends on social media, and when he asked President Trump for help, he got the cancer drug he needed.

Any “deal” that ends with Dems just getting a pinky promise in return is a mistake. The American people are suffering because Republicans refuse to stop healthcare costs from skyrocketing. An agreement that doesn’t fix that reality falls massively short.

I will also add: I can do this for evictions in Illinois too, if SNAP benefits being cut off or the government shutdown means you can't make rent.
