This letter from legal expert Robert Huxford endorses our position. Increasing a speed limit by 50% to 30mph is not a trivial change to be made at the whim of politicians to placate public opinion or win votes. Its has legal implications for the local authority, its councilors and its officers.

This is good news actually! The station at Cullompton is confirmed, lets make that station as worth it as possible, by encouraging everyone to not drive to Exeter. Perhaps some of the funded slated for the upgrade could be used for better buses linking the station.

In Ceredigion, out of a population of 71,500, only 16 people objected to any of the 20mph roads managed by the county. That's just 0.02%, and shows strong public acceptance of the default 20mph limit. #20splenty making Wales an even better place to be.
