Such an amazing few days at our National Society for Education Flourishing Leaders and teachers conference - so much enthusiasm for what we want to achieve together! We need to move from being on the “edge” to creating a movement of change! Such a privilege to be in a room with so much expertise.

We developed a set of guiding principles for PD in our trust. Not rocket science but a shared understanding 🚀

Next we thought carefully about how we could develop this and provide CPD around our shared language which was impactful and made the very best use of teacher time. Big thanks to the work of the EEF, @drsamsims.bsky.social and the @ioe.bsky.social team for their clever research!

We categorised our ideas into ‘flourishing classrooms’ and ‘flourishing learners’ inspired by the work of @andywolfe.bsky.social and his team.
